How do I create an account?
Download Dance Buddy from the App Store or Google Play, then tap "Sign Up" and follow the prompts to create your profile with your dance styles and preferences.
How do I find dance partners near me?
Go to the "Discover" tab and use the filters to search by dance style, role (Lead/Follow), and location. Tap "Let's Dance!" to send a partner request.
What is the "Live Lobby" feature?
When you check in at a dance event, you can see other dancers who are also checked in. Use the traffic light status (Green = Looking to dance, Yellow = Taking a break, Red = Not available) to find available partners.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. We'll send you a 6-digit code to reset your password.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings (gear icon) → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.
How can dance schools get verified?
Schools can request verification through the app by submitting their business license and website URL. Our team reviews requests within 24-48 hours.
Is Dance Buddy free to use?
Yes! Dance Buddy is completely free. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core functionality will always remain free.
